Matthew's 4 month Dr. Appt.

Matthew is growing up quickly. He had his 4 month appointment with his pediatrician today. We're glad to report he's a healty little boy. He is 25 3/4 inches tall and 15 lbs. 13 oz., both of which put him in the 75th percentile.

He has been starting to occasionally take a bottle with formula. It took us awhile, but we finally found a bottle and nipple that he likes. The Playtex Drop In nurser. Now it's time to start with rice cereal.

One interesting thing I learned is that you're not supposed to give children under 1 year old honey. The reason is because it has something in it that can cause infant botcholism. You also have to avoid nuts, seafood and eggs. It seems allergies are a big thing these days. I don't remember all of this with Maddie. Maybe it's just been too long.

Thanks Evelyn. James is doing better. Still a little weezy. We're going to see an allergist/asthma specialist on the 10th.
