How do you get Desitin out of hair?
The Answer:
Day 1: Wash with Dawn dish soap once and shampoo 4 times.
Result: Still very greasy.
Day 2: Wash with Dawn dish soap once and shampoo once.
Result: Greasy, but can be passed off as the wet look.
Day 3: Wash with Dawn dish soap once and shampoo once.
Result: Looking good, except near the roots.
It's taken a few days and I've taken James around town looking like a "greaser" from the 50's, but he still has all of his good looking blond hair, so we're happy!

Maybe vinegar would help. It cuts through grease and such like.
at least you have a solution to your problem. wish I could be as fortunate! :)
